Teen Driver Education Program

Our Ohio Teen Driver Education Program helps teens become safe, confident, and responsible drivers while meeting all Ohio BMV requirements. Ohio law requires all teens under the age of 18 to complete a state-approved drivers ed program before obtaining a probationary driver license.

Students are required to complete:

• 24 hours of classroom or online driver education
• 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving instruction with a certified instructor
• 50 hours of supervised driving practice with a parent or guardian
• Including 10 hours of night driving

Abbreviated Adult Driver Education Program

Our Adult Driver Education Program is designed for adults of all experience levels. Whether you are a beginner driver, nervous driver, or preparing to retake your driving test, we create a personalized training plan to help you succeed.

This adult drivers ed program is ideal for:

• Adults with no driving experience
• Adults preparing for the Ohio road test
• Adults who have previously failed the driving test
• International drivers in need of driving experience in the state of Ohio
• Experienced drivers wanting refresher lessons

Ohio adults who have previously failed the driving test may be required by the Ohio BMV to complete an Abbreviated Adult Driver Training Course, which includes:

• 4 hours of classroom or online instruction
• 4 hours of behind-the-wheel driver training

Limited Term Driver Training

We provide training for Ohio-approved Limited Term Driver License for temporary residents in the United States.

A Limited Term Driver License may be issued by the BMV to:

• International students
• Work visa holders
• Temporary residents
• Non-U.S. citizens with legal presence

Our instructors help students understand Ohio driving laws, prepare for the Ohio driving test, and build confidence behind the wheel. Right Route Driving School offers limited term drivers ed and in car training throughout Central Ohio and surrounding areas. This includes: Reynoldsburg, Delaware, Dublin, Pataskala and more.

Maneuverability Practice

Our Maneuverability Practice Program is perfect for teens and adults who need some extra practice with the maneuverability portion of the Ohio driving test. Students will receive hands-on practice with:

• Cone and general maneuverability
• Reversing skills
• Steering control
• Parking techniques

This program is ideal for:

• First-time test takers
• Students retaking the driving test
• Drivers wanting extra confidence before their test
